A minimalist side table exploring the perception of balance and structural impossibility.
Designed and handcrafted from birch wood, the table uses a simple triangular geometry to create the illusion that its entire structure is balancing on a single point.

Geometry in balance.
The final design is based on a right-angled triangular silhouette, with the tabletop forming the hypotenuse.
A centrally positioned, angled support is integrated into the longer side of the triangle and concealed from the viewing angle. This creates a visual illusion in which the table appears to balance on its tip, while remaining structurally stable. The dark wood finish gives the piece a more contemporary character and emphasizes its clean, geometric form.
